BOOK REVIEW: Our Daily Boost

Our Daily Boost , by Pastor Clifford Manie and his wife Brigette , is uplifting and inspirational. They use stories and their own life events to illustrate and share God's word. In so doing, Pastor Clifford and Brigette give you a deeper understanding of the Christian life, and the path you should walk as a believer.  I highly recommend this book because it will encourage and spiritually move you and strengthen your faith.

30 Of My Own Life's Little Instructions

I read "Life's Little Instruction Book" by H. Jackson Brown, Jr. a little while ago.  It was an inspiration for me to write my own life's little instructions: things I learned, experienced, or just came up with along the way. Here they are: 1.  Write on colored paper-it's fun and opens up the imagination. 2.  Throw your garbage out at the movie theater or anywhere else for that matter. 3.  Trust your instincts-if it does not feel or sound right, it isn't. 4.  If you question whether or not you should do something, don't do it. The fact that you are asking is      your answer. 5.  Treat yourself to at least one thing every month. 6.  Keep a list of the books you read. Pass them on to your family or friends when you are done. 7.  Read at least one book a month. 8.  Take pictures of unusual things. 9.  Make a portfolio of your favorite pictures and share them. 10. Write something that you want to remember for each day. 11. Take a class in some

God Sees Me Through - Excerpt from my devotional, FAITH WITHOUT BORDERS

This poem titled, God Sees Me Through, was inspired by my feelings of helplessness, loneliness, and despair. Almost six years ago, God sent me an angel, Naomi, to rescue me from the abyss I was drowning in. As she told me, God called her to where I was, and she could not understand why. But, she was obedient and realized after talking to me, what her purpose was in that visit. I am forever grateful to God and to Naomi for listening to his calling. I would not be here today if it were not for her ministering to my hopeless soul, and giving me the light I needed to find my way.
